Every vehicle needs its annual MOT eventually, and a good thing, too! Class 3

Vehicles that require a Class 3 MOT include:

• 3 wheeled vehicles not more than 450 kg unladen weight (excluding motor bicycles with side cars). (3 wheeled vehicles more than 450 kg unladen are in class 4).

Class 4

Vehicles that require a Class 4 MOT include:

• Cars (up to 8 passenger seats)
• Motor Caravans
• 3 Wheeled Vehicles (over 450kg unladen weight)
• Quads (max unladen weight 400kg- for goods vehicle 550kg and max. net power of 15kw)
• Dual purpose Vehicles
• Private Hire and Public Service Vehicles (up to 8 passenger seats)
• Good Vehicles (up to 3,000kg design gross weight)
• Ambulances & Taxis
